Blankets for the Homeless

The mission team and United Methodist Women are working together to collect blankets for the homeless. If you have any blankets that you would like to donate you can bring them to the Church or if you would like to donate money to purchase blankets simply place “blanket donation” in the reference section of your check and drop it off at Church.


Our goal is to provide the 100 blankets that are needed by Monday November 17th It is a God Sized task and I believe we are ready!

 

Thanksgiving Food Basket Help

On Saturday, November 22 in the fellowship hall will will be assembling thanksgiving food baskets for the needy. Brenda Marino and crew need your help, support, and prayers for this seasonal project in our community.


We are in need of the following donations: sweet potatoes; boxes of mashed potatoes; cans of corn, peas, or green beans; rice; stuffing mixes; cranberry sauce; canned gravy or gravy mix; boxes of cake mix and icing; desert mixes; dry beans; canned fruit; cereal; grits; juice; evaporated milk; peanut butter; jelly; paper towels; toilet paper; tooth brushes; deoderants; tuna fish; and kids snacks.

 

Saints Game Viewing

Join us on Sundays in the Fellowship Hall on the Saints away games for a viewing party on our large 18-foot high definition projection screen!
Bring your own chairs, beanbags, and snacks and join the fun and fellowship!

 

UMW Holiday Shopping Adventrure & Luncheon

Mark your calendar! On Saturday December 6, 2008 the United Methodist Women at St. Charles will be leaving the Church at 9:00 am traveling to the Esplanade Mall where we will have a scavenger hunt and holiday shopping with friends. Afterward we will have lunch at Copeland’s. We have a reserved private room at Copeland’s and will need a count of attendees so please sign up on the secretaries desk or call Karen Seifert. The cost is $20. All ladies are invited.
