On August 3, 2011, St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church will host a dinner for our Missionary Willie Berman and his family. Willie is a GBGM Missionary in Western Mexico. Willie will be discussing his ministry throughout Mexico and how he is reaching the people of his region with the word of Jesus.

We would like to bless the mission of Mexico by sending them home with School Supplies for the children. Please collect the following list and bring it to the Dinner on August 3rd. (If you need to drop the supplies off early call Mary Anne at 985-764-8386)

We are also trying to find out if there is any interest to go on a 7-10 day construction mission into Mexico. Each year we are asked if we would like to lead a team into some of the areas that do not have as many teams. We would need a longer committment and would need a team of at least 5 people. It could be that you could attend both missions if you would like. Please let Mary Anne Schindler or the church know if you are praying about it.
