Dinner for 8--Singles
What is it? Dinner for 8 Singles is similar to our "regular" dinner for 8--but with a twist. Once the sign up list is complete (last day to sign up is June 15), the Family Fellowship Team will assign groups of approximately 8 Single adults.
You'll receive a letter from the Family Fellowship Team before the 21st of June with your group assignment--with one person asked to coordinate the first gathering. Together at your first dinner, you'll pick the dates for the remaining meals, rotating who will be the coordinator each time. Whoever is the coordinator will select the restaurant for the following meal and make sure the others know when and where.
Unlike our Regular Dinner for 8, the Singles group will meet in restaurants--dutch treat, of course.
There is no limit to the number of groups we can have--so invite your friends to participate as well!!
The sign up sheet is on the secretary's desk in the foyer. Or, you can email the church office at office@stcharlesumc.com and let Karen know you'd like to be a part of Dinner for 8 SINGLES.
